ABOUT SOLAR GUIDE

Independent solar intelligence for Pakistan

We don’t sell panels. We help you choose them, with datasheet-verified specs, real PKR prices, and math built for Pakistani bills.

It started with a bad quote

Ask three installers to quote the same 10kW system in Lahore and you can get three numbers that differ by hundreds of thousands of rupees. Same panels, same inverter, wildly different prices. That’s the problem Solar Guide was built to fix.
There was no neutral place in Pakistan to check what equipment actually costs, what the datasheets actually say, or what a fair system price looks like. So we built one: a research platform with no inventory to push and no brand paying for its place in the rankings, just specs, prices and calculators that answer the question every buyer has: “am I being quoted fairly?”

Our pledge

What we do

  • Verify every spec against the manufacturer’s datasheet
  • Collect PKR market prices monthly, with update dates
  • Build calculators around Pakistani tariffs and sun-hours
  • Pass your details to installers only when you ask for a quote
  • Say plainly how we are funded, on our disclaimer page

What we never do

  • Sell or install equipment
  • Take money from a brand to appear, rank higher or read better
  • Let brands edit comparison data
  • Rank products by who pays
  • Share your number beyond the installers who quote you

How we collect our data

1

Datasheets first

Every spec on a product page traces back to the manufacturer’s official datasheet, never a seller’s brochure or ad.

2

Prices, monthly

We collect PKR price ranges from vendors and distributors each month, and every price shows when it was last updated.

3

Corrections, welcomed

Spot something wrong? Report it via the contact page. Verified fixes go live in the next update cycle.
