How to Verify Trina Solar Panels Online in Pakistan

Almost every guide you will find says Trina has no verification tool. They are quoting an address that died. The tool is alive, it moved, and it is the only one on this site that tells you the grade of your panel as well as whether it is real.

The address everyone cites is dead

For years the answer was trinasolar.com/en-glb/module-authenticity. It no longer exists. Open it today and you are redirected to the Trina home page, with no message and nothing to tell you that you have been sent somewhere else. We checked it again on 6 October 2026 and it still redirects.

That redirect is why so many Pakistani solar pages state flatly that Trina offers no check. They tested the old link, found a home page, and wrote it up. The service did not close. It moved into Trina’s customer service portal at customerservice.trinasolar.com, under Module Service, as Verify Module Authenticity.

Finding the serial number on your panel

Trina prints it on the module label and again on the frame. Take it from the module itself rather than from a pallet sticker or a delivery note, and if the label and the frame disagree, that is worth asking about before you type anything.

Trina publishes no length or prefix, so there is nothing to check your number against before you submit it. The box accepts up to 128 characters, which is far longer than any serial, so a code that fits tells you nothing either way.

Checking it, step by step

Step 1: open the portal, and ignore Sign In

The button at the top of this page opens the query directly. When it loads you will see a Sign In button in the top right of the portal. You do not need it. That account is for submitting warranty claims. The authenticity query runs for anyone.

Step 2: type the serial number

One field, labelled Please input Serial No. No country to choose and no verification code. Type it exactly as printed and keep letters as letters.

Step 3: read the table, especially the Grade column

Trina answers in a small table with four columns: Serial No., PV-MODULE Type, Grade and Query Time. An empty result shows as No Data.

PV-MODULE Type is worth comparing against what you were sold. If you paid for a Vertex N and the lookup names something else, you have a problem that has nothing to do with counterfeiting.

Why the Grade column matters in Pakistan

No other manufacturer on this site returns a grade. Trina does, and in this market that is the more useful of the two answers.

B grade modules are real panels. They are made by the manufacturer, carry genuine serial numbers and pass an authenticity check without any difficulty, because there is nothing fake about them. They are sorted out of production for cosmetic flaws, small output variance or handling marks, and they are sold cheaper and warranted differently. A verification tool that only answers real or not real cannot see the difference.

Which is exactly the gap a seller can work in. A panel sold to you as A grade, at A grade money, passes a normal authenticity check even when it left the factory as B grade. On Trina, the check names the grade, so you can hold the answer up against the invoice.

If the grade comes back as something other than what you paid for, that is a commercial dispute with your supplier and a strong one, because the manufacturer has stated it in writing on their own website.

Trina made this module. Check the type and the grade against your invoice while you are here. Authenticity is the question you came with; those two columns are the ones more likely to find a problem.

No Data comes back

Read the serial again off the module, character by character. 0 against O and 1 against I account for most failures. If the label and the frame carry different numbers, try both.

If a correctly copied serial still returns nothing, raise it with your supplier in writing before the rest of the consignment goes up on the roof, and ask them to match your serial numbers against their import documents.

Why do other sites say Trina has no checker?

Because the address they tested redirects to the Trina home page. It is an honest mistake repeated from one page to the next. The tool moved into the customer service portal and the old link was never updated.

Do I need an account?

No. The Sign In button on the portal is for warranty claims. The authenticity query is open to anyone.

What is the difference between A grade and B grade?

Both are genuine panels from the same factory. B grade modules are sorted out for cosmetic flaws, small variance in output or handling marks, and are sold cheaper with different warranty terms. The problem is not B grade stock existing. The problem is B grade stock sold at A grade prices, and Trina’s check is the only one here that will tell you.
