Naveed Shahid has spent twelve years building the network that rooftop solar connects into. Since 2023 he has worked on Pakistan's first 765kV transmission line, the 157km Dasu to Mansehra link that carries power from the 4,320MW Dasu hydropower plant to the national grid, on a World Bank financed turnkey contract with SINOHYDRO Group.
Before that he spent nine years with Pak Elektron as a project engineer on more than a dozen new 132kV grid stations for MEPCO, covering design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning on turnkey terms. He is certified as a Project Management Professional.
