Muhammad Murtaza is a power systems engineer with a Masters and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila.
He spent a year as Assistant Operations Manager at Peshawar Electric Supply Company, running a distribution sub-division of thirteen thousand consumers and handling insulation and equipment testing at a 132kV grid station. Before that he lectured in power system operations at Riphah International University, worked as an associate researcher at UET Taxila, and ran gas engine generation at Al-Hassan Limited. His work on economic load dispatch was published in the Sindh University Research Journal in 2020.
