Dr Gulistan Raja is Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, where he has taught and researched since 1997 and has been a Professor of Electrical Engineering since 2012. He has also served as Director of Advanced Studies, Research and Technology Development, Chairman of the Electronics Engineering department, and founding Chairman of the Biomedical Engineering department.
He took his BSc in Electrical Engineering at UET Taxila in 1996, a Masters in Information Systems Engineering at Osaka University in Japan on a Japanese government scholarship, and his PhD in Electrical Engineering at UET Taxila. He is an Associate Editor of the IET Journal of Engineering, and holds the IEEE Region 10 Outstanding Branch Counselor Award and an HEC Best Teacher Award.
He does not write for Solar Guide. He checks the electrical engineering in our guides and the assumptions behind our calculators, and every page he has read carries his name and the date he read it.
