Note: Three-phase grid-tied only - no battery input and no backup output, so it feeds the building and exports the surplus under net metering. Sungrow recommend up to 18 kWp of array on a 12 kW inverter. Two independent MPP trackers over a 160-1000 V window on an 1100 V ceiling, starting at 180 V. The trackers are not symmetrical: 32 A on the first with two strings and 16 A on the second with one, 48 A in total. European weighted efficiency 97.90%, peak 98.30%. Built-in Type II surge protection on both DC and AC, arc-fault interruption, PID recovery and a DC switch as standard. C5 anti-corrosion rating and IP65, naturally cooled with no fan to fail, 18 kg. Plug-and-play AC connector and MC4 on the DC side. WLAN, Ethernet and RS485 all built in. The current shown is the maximum AC output current, which is what both Sungrow sheets publish for every model in the range. Note the inverter idles in standby between 1000 V and 1100 V rather than tripping - but above 1000 V the supplied MC4 connectors must be swapped for MC4 Evo2.
