Note: Grid export is documented on the datasheet, so this model can be net-metered. Sold by retailers as the ONYX PV9000 after its 9000 W array rating. Two MPPTs sharing 30 A (15 A + 15 A, 40 A short-circuit) over a 70-520 V window on a 550 V ceiling - the highest PV ceiling of any single-phase SolarMax. 48 V bank (40-60 V) at 120 A charge and discharge, 6000 W each way, with three-stage charging and self-adaption to the battery BMS. Dual AC output rated 6000 W on both grid and backup, 27.2 A maximum at 220 V, over a wide adjustable 150-300 V grid window. Transfer 10 ms typical, 20 ms maximum. 97.3% PV-to-AC and 94.0% battery-to-AC. Naturally cooled - no fan - at under 35 dB, IP65, 25 kg. Five-year warranty. Not to be confused with the Onyx Lite 6kW, which is a lighter 15.5 kg unit on a different chassis.
