Sako Sunon Pro 3.5kW Hybrid Inverter

Note: 3500 W and 3500 VA on a 24 V battery bank from up to 5000 W of PV, with a 120 to 450 V MPPT window on a 500 V open-circuit ceiling. The MPPT charger puts out up to 100 A at 98% efficiency, the mains charger up to 60 A, and total charging is capped at 80 A. Surge 7000 VA, no-load draw 1.0 A. Peak efficiency is stated only as above 90%. Transfer time 10 ms in UPS mode or 20 ms for appliances, with a selectable input window of 170 to 280 V for UPS use and 90 to 280 V for appliances. Low-battery alarm at 22.0 V, cut-off at 21 V, recovery at 23 V, float 27 V and overcharge protection at 32 V. Sako suggest 9 panels of 300 W in series at 36 V with two strings in parallel, which is 5400 W and above the 5000 W array ceiling on the same sheet, so size the array to 5000 W. No grid export and no net metering: the datasheet has no grid-output or feed-in section, so it runs the load from PV and battery and takes utility as a backup charging source. The sheet gives no IP rating, no certification list, no warranty term, no communication ports and no MPPT tracker count, so those fields are left empty rather than guessed. Rated 5% to 95% humidity and 0 to 50 °C, so it is not rated for freezing conditions. 9.8 kg net, 11 kg packed. The case is 300 mm wide, 492 mm tall and 130 mm deep; the sheet labels that row D x W x H, which does not match a wall-mounted box of this shape. Naming: the unit itself is branded Sunon Pro and w11stop.com sells it as Sunon Pro, while the datasheet table heads the same figures as Sunon Plus. Against the 5.5kW: the same case, MPPT window and 80 A charge ceiling, with 2000 W more output, 1000 W more PV, an 80 A mains charger instead of 60 A and a 48 V bank instead of 24 V, for 0.7 kg more.
