Knox Krypton 8000 6kW Hybrid Inverter

Note: The largest PV input of the 6 kW Kryptons, up to 8000 W. 6000 W output on a 48 V bank from one MPPT with a 120 to 430 V window (360 V nominal, 500 V maximum) and 27 A input current (40 A maximum), starting at 120 V and feeding the grid from 150 V. Grid feeding over a selectable 184 to 264.5 V or 195.5 to 253 V window. 120 A from solar and from mains, 26 A nominal output current. Float charge 54 V, overcharge cut-off 63 V. Parallels to 9 units in the table, although the front page says 6. The datasheet leaves the surge figure blank for this model; the Krypton 7500 beside it is rated 12,000 VA. Knox name the base model as the InfiniSolar V4 Twin 6kW. 12 kg in a 295 × 468 × 140 mm case. Knox's datasheet files the whole Krypton range under a Grid-Tie Operation section with grid feeding, so it is listed as a hybrid, but it names no grid certification (no IEC 62116 anti-islanding or IEC 61727), so confirm your distribution company will accept it for net metering before planning an export system. Pure sine wave output with a 10 ms transfer for computers and 20 ms for appliances, 93% battery-mode efficiency and 95% maximum DC to AC conversion. Dual outputs for smart load management, a 12 V DC output of up to 100 W for a DC fan, LED lights or a router, RGB status lights, built-in WiFi with an Android and iOS app, USB on-the-go, and a reserved BMS port (RS485, CAN or RS232). It runs without a battery and accepts mains or generator input, restarting on mains once it returns to 180 V. Replaceable fan and a built-in anti-dust kit. Rated -10 to +50 °C. The datasheet gives no IP rating and no warranty term, so ask the dealer for both.
