How it works

Choose a category first – panels, inverters, batteries, structures or accessories. This stops the tool comparing things that cannot meaningfully be compared, and it narrows the search to just that catalogue.
Then start typing. After two characters, matching models appear with their brand. Click one and the slot locks in. Two products is enough; four is the maximum, which is about as many columns as a spec table stays readable across.
Press Compare and the table builds. Every field on the spec sheet appears, in the same sections and with the same labels as the individual product pages, because it is generated from the same underlying data.
Your selection is stored in the page address, so you can copy the URL and send someone the exact comparison you are looking at.

The row that answers the question

Price and Value sit at the top of every comparison, above the specifications, because they are what most people are actually trying to settle.
Value is the price divided by the thing the product delivers:
Panels – rupees per watt. A cheaper panel that produces less is not cheaper.
Inverters – rupees per kilowatt of AC output.
Batteries – rupees per usable kilowatt-hour. Usable, not nameplate. A battery you can only safely discharge halfway gives you half of what the label says, and comparing on nameplate capacity is how lead-acid ends up looking twice as good as it is.
Two products with the same price tag can differ by a third on these figures. It is the single most useful number on the page, and it is why we put it above the specs rather than buried under them.

Compare within a class, not across one. A battery-less inverter costs a fraction of a hybrid per kilowatt because it has no charge controller or battery management. Lead-acid beats lithium on rupees per usable kWh today and loses badly over the number of cycles it delivers. The value figure is honest arithmetic — it is not a verdict.

Why blank rows are still shown

If neither product publishes a figure, the row still appears with a dash in both columns.
That is deliberate. A missing row would let you assume the specification does not apply. A dash tells you something more useful: this is a real specification, and neither manufacturer has published it – or we have not entered it yet.
Where a figure is missing from one product but present in the other, that gap is often the most informative thing in the table. A manufacturer who publishes their temperature coefficient and one who does not are telling you different things about their confidence.

Where the numbers come from

Specifications are taken from manufacturer datasheets, not from retailer listings. Where a datasheet is available we link it on the product page so you can check us.
Prices are the lowest we currently track from Pakistani suppliers, and each product page carries the date its price was last updated. We do not sell equipment, we take no commission on what you buy, and no manufacturer can pay to appear higher in a comparison – there is no ranking to buy, only arithmetic.
