Note: Volta rate the whole tubular range at over 1250 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, and the usable figure here is taken at that depth - the deepest Volta themselves test to, not a depth to hit daily. Tubular positive plates with thick negative plates, low-resistance PE separators, and float indicators so the electrolyte level is visible rather than guessed. Flooded, so it needs topping up and a ventilated space - not an indoor-cupboard battery. Built to IEC 60896-11. Capacity is quoted at the 20-hour rate. Low Height Tubular in Volta's range, 9 plates per cell. The VLT models are low-height units - 328 mm of container against the tall tubular range's 373 mm - which matters if the battery has to fit under a bench or inside a cabinet. You pay for it in capacity per plate. Overall height with terminals is 364 mm against a 328 mm container - size the battery box on the taller figure. 61 kg filled. This model is not on Volta's March 2026 consumer price list, which covers only the VT-1000, 1800, 2000, 2500, 3500 and 4000 - so expect it to be a commercial or export line rather than something on a dealer's shelf. Confirm availability before designing around it. Volta is made by Pakistan Accumulators (Pvt) Limited, part of ACM Group, at Industrial Estate Hattar - the same plant, and the same moulds, as Osaka. The Osaka equivalent is a physically identical battery in different livery, so choose between them on price and on which dealer network is stronger near you, not on specification.
