Note: GoodWe publish both figures: 5.12 kWh nominal and 5 kWh usable, the usable one measured at 100% depth of discharge, 0.2C, 25°C at beginning of life. Cycle life is over 6000 to 70% end-of-life - a stated end point, not a bare number - and round-trip efficiency is at least 96%, which is the figure that actually decides how much of your solar reaches the load. The current ratings are the reason to choose it. 60 A nominal charge and 90 A maximum, against 100 A nominal discharge, 150 A maximum continuous and a pulse of under 200 A for 30 seconds - GoodWe market it as 1.5C discharging, and 7.2 kW of continuous discharge power from a single 5 kWh module is well ahead of most 48 V competitors. It takes power out far faster than it puts it in, which suits evening load-shifting and heavy motor starting. Parallels to 30 units for 150 kWh - the highest parallel count of any battery on Solar Guide - using hand-to-hand wiring, a combiner box or a busbar, and it mounts in a 19-inch rack, on the floor, or on a wall. Operating window is a generous 0-55°C charging and -20 to +55°C discharging, up to 4000 m altitude. 44 kg, IP20, so indoors and dry. Two things to check before ordering. Communication is CAN only, and remote diagnosis and firmware update run through a GoodWe inverter - so the monitoring story assumes you are on GoodWe hardware. And maximum charge and discharge current vary with the inverter model, so the 150 A figure is a battery capability, not a guarantee for your system; check GoodWe's battery compatibility list. Note that this is the GoodWe battery actually stocked in Pakistan. The Lynx Home F range that appears on many local comparison sites is a high-voltage product (204.8 V to 512 V, IP55) and will not work with a 48 V hybrid inverter.
