Note: BYD publish usable energy rather than a nominal nameplate, so the figure shown is already what you can take out - no derating needed. Test conditions are 0.2C charge and discharge at 25°C. Round-trip efficiency is at least 95%, which is the number that actually decides how much of your solar makes it back to the load. 70 A continuous both ways with a strong 200 A peak held for 10 seconds - so it starts motor loads well despite the modest continuous rating. Stacks to 32 units for 160 kWh. The widest communication set of the three LV models: CAN, RS485, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi all built in, where the LV5.0+ needs an optional module for Wi-Fi and the Flex Lite offers CAN only. Charge derating occurs between 0°C and +10°C. IP20, floor standing, 42 kg - the lightest of the three. Certified CE, IEC62619 and UN38.3, with BYD listing compatibility for Victron, Deye, Solis, SMA, Voltronic, Phocos, GoodWe and Megarevo. BYD publish no cycle life on this datasheet - there is no cycle-count row at all. Judge it on the warranty instead. Prices span Rs 260,000 at Diwan International, BYD's authorised Pakistani distributor, to Rs 270,000 at w11stop. The LV5.0+ raises continuous current from 70 A to 100 A and adds a stated 10-year warranty for not much more.
