Note: AGS is the battery brand of Atlas Battery Limited, a listed Pakistani manufacturer with the country's largest dealer network. Atlas publish no datasheet PDF - the specification here is taken from their own product page. Atlas quote two ratings and the gap matters: 180 Ah at the 20-hour rate but only 144 Ah at the 5-hour rate. If you are pulling heavy loads for a few hours rather than trickling overnight, size on the 5-hour figure. 9 plates per cell. SP-Tall and EC are both tubular and share the same case, the same L2 terminals and the same iT500 type code - but do not compare them on plate count. The EC-2200 gets 185 Ah from 5 plates where the SP-Tall 1200 gets 90 Ah from 5, because the two lines use different plate designs; the plate number tells you where a model sits inside its own range and nothing across ranges. Compare them on rupees per amp-hour instead, which is where the ranking is clear: the EC models run about Rs 265-270 per Ah across all three, while SP-Tall runs from Rs 276 per Ah on the 2500 up to Rs 369 per Ah on the 1200. EC is the better value at every size, and the small SP-Tall models are the worst buy in the AGS tubular line-up. This one works out at about Rs 278 per amp-hour. Flooded tubular - it needs topping up and ventilation, so it does not belong in a sealed cupboard. Weight given is filled. Overall height 425 mm with terminals against a 393 mm container. Rs 50,017 is Atlas's own list price. Atlas publish no cycle life for this battery. The usable figure shown is derived at a conventional depth for the chemistry, not a manufacturer statement.
